(Psalm  46:1)</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Scripture records that Jesus responded to questions about His return to earth by saying in Matthew 24:32: "But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."   The Bible describes in Genesis 6:11 the condition of the world in Noah's time, before the worldwide cataclysm known as the Flood, ".And the earth was filled with VIOLENCE."  What a description of the present time!</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Are we living in the "last days" before Christ returns to set up His glorious Kingdom of peace on earth as the Bible foretells?  Does human civilization mirror the image of this prophesied time?</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>The Apostle Paul describes such a time in 2 Timothy 3:1, "This know also that in the last days perilous times shall come.  He goes on to say in verse 13: "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse."</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Friends, the events of last week glaringly reveal that we are truly  living in a perilous time.  We must, however, lean on our sovereign  Savior and follow the Psalmist's lead to ".Give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good: Because his mercy endureth forever!"
